Talage Recognized by Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada for Commitment to Reno
December 14, 2018
Talage was recently recognized by the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) along with state and locally elected officials. Talage is proud to call Reno home and to build and expand the operation within the state of Nevada. On December 6th, Talage was honored along with 28 other new startups and expanding businesses.
Talage was founded in, and is headquartered in northern Nevada with ties to the University of Nevada, Reno and the community at large. Since our inception, it was important to us that we created a company with a distinctly Nevadan culture, while using the lessons and insights we brought back from the San Francisco Bay Area. Talage team members participate at the board level of numerous charitable organizations across the region, and are active in countless ways in northern Nevada. The proximity to the Bay and the outdoor lifestyle of northern Nevada made the decision to plant Talage in Reno an easy one.
Our roots in the state run deep, not only through the efforts of our team members, but the financial support in our seed round of funding by the state of Nevada's venture capital program, Battle Born Venture.
We look forward to continued growth and continued partnership with organizations like EDAWN as we secure a bright future for Talage, our employees, and the Northern Nevada community that we call home.
