Do I need insurance for my small business?
It depends on what you do and where you do it, but the short answer is yes. You need insurance to protect what you’ve built. We get that owning a business is hard, which is why we make it easy for you to find the coverage you need faster than anyone else so you can get back to work. Our passion is insurance, but we’re guessing yours’ isn’t, so let us handle it.
Liability insurance covers things that happen to other people. Depending on what you do, it covers people slipping and falling at your store, getting sick from something you served them, or harm caused by an action your company took. Litigation can be messy and is almost always expensive, so liability insurance will help you sleep at night.
Property insurance covers what happens to your stuff. Theft, fire, water damage, a meteor falling from the sky - whatever it is, a good property insurance policy will protect your valuables since you can’t be there all the time.
Workers' Compensation covers your employees. As a business owner, you are liable for any injuries that happen to your employees on the job. Workers Compensation insurance pays for medical care, lost time and wages, and even permanent disabilities. We know you care about your employees and your company, but on top of that, Workers’ Compensation is also almost always required by law.
