What is workers' compensation?

Workers' compensation is a form of insurance that provides wage replacement and medical benefits to employees injured in the course of employment.

Why do I need workers' compensation insurance?

Employers are liable for injuries at work even if the employee contributed to the fault. Worker’s comp will cover the medical expenses and lost pay when your employees are injured at work.

It is required by law. The fine print is different for every state but currently every state besides Texas has some type of requirement. Some links to state details are below.
